The Tear Towers personify a visceral response to the unfolding Anthropocene Epoch.
Body and mind respond to the external over-processed, hyper-engineered human experience.
The sculptures are constructed from moulded and hand-built facets.

A range of bespoke low-fire glazes was developed for this series, applied in layers over multiple firings.

Bourgeois Tears (2024)
A homage to the French-American artist and queen of embedded childhood trauma, Louise Bourgeois (1911-2010).
